The Connecting Communities program at Atypical Farm brings participants together to develop entrepreneurial skills while embracing traditional farming values. Through hands-on projects in vegetable gardening, egg production, and craftsmanship, participants gain practical experience that enhances their independence. Their work contributes to our monthly onsite markets, where they sell handmade and homegrown products, fostering confidence and community engagement. The program also includes cooking sessions, using fresh local produce to create meals for community members, reinforcing the connection between farm, food, and people.

 Atypical Solutions offers interactive Auslan learning for children, adults, and community groups. Our structured curriculum covers essential vocabulary, grammar, and cultural aspects, with experienced instructors creating an inclusive learning environment. Sessions include hands on activities, role plays and real life practice to build practical communication skills. We also customise programs for schools, workplaces, and organisations to meet specific needs and goals.

 Our Support Coordination service helps individuals navigate the disability support system with personalised, person-centred assistance. We connect you with the right services, focusing on your goals, preferences, and overall well-being. Our holistic approach includes support for healthcare, employment, housing, and social participation. We are also committed to accessibility, ensuring effective communication for those who are deaf or use alternative communication methods.

 Our play and Occupational Therapy programs support children and adults in developing essential life skills through creative, hands-on activities. Play therapy fosters emotional expression, social skills, and confidence, while occupational therapy enhances independence, motor skills, and daily living abilities. Set in a natural farm environment, our sessions are tailored to individual needs, promoting growth, well-being, and engagement in meaningful activities.

Our deaf inclusion group connects the deaf and hearing communities through accessible monthly events across the Mornington Peninsula and South East suburbs. Activities include hiking, archery, markets, winery tours, and camping—open to all, regardless of Auslan fluency.

Led by Tara (CODA) and local deaf community members, we handle planning, tickets, and interpreters so you can focus on fun.

Participants help shape each adventure, ensuring inclusive and meaningful experiences.

 Where learning comes to life in a nature-based setting designed for children of all abilities. Our program blends the Victorian Curriculum with hands-on experiences in animal care, horticulture, cooking, and Auslan education, fostering a love for learning in an inclusive and supportive environment. As a Child Safe Organisation proudly using Child Aware principles, we are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and enriching space for every child to thrive. 

 

We cater to two age groups: 5-12 years and 12-18 years, operating three days per week from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Where sensory discovery comes alive in our nurturing farm-based setting, designed for children of all abilities. Our program thoughtfully combines natural exploration with hands-on experiences in texture play, animal interaction, and garden discovery, fostering engagement through multi-sensory adventures. As a Child Safe Organisation proudly using Child Aware principles, we create a safe, supportive, and enriching space where every child can explore at their own pace.


We welcome participants to join us weekly for two hours of guided sensory discovery in our inclusive farm setting, where every sensory journey is celebrated and supported.

  Experience the magic of farm life after school with three unique daily adventures. From creative LEGO building on Wednesdays, garden exploration on Thursdays, to pony connection on Fridays - every afternoon brings new discoveries in our inclusive farm setting. Join our supportive community where every child belongs and adventure awaits!

   Discover the joy of farm life these holidays! Our inclusive program offers animal connection, nature play, and creative activities in a supportive farm environment. Each day brings new adventures where children can explore, learn, and make friends naturally. 

 

 We cater to two age groups: 5-12 years and 12-18 years, operating five days per week during Victorian School Holidays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pricing

All supports at Atypical Solutions are provided in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and legislation. Pricing is determined by individual support needs, with services available on a 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 basis. For programs based at Atypical Farm, Centre Capital Costs and Non-Face-to-Face charges apply daily, along with individual support costs based on the agreed ratio, all charged at NDIS maximum rates. Our team consists of highly qualified and thoroughly screened staff, ensuring compliance and the highest quality, person-centred care. Transport to and from programs is available at an additional cost, aligned with NDIS pricing guidelines.
