Personalised In-Home & Community Supports for Children, Teens & Adults
At Atypical Solutions, we believe high-quality support isn’t just about helping with tasks, it’s about creating meaningful, life-enhancing experiences that match each person’s goals, interests and communication style.
Why Choose Atypical Solutions?
We deliver purpose-driven support that aligns with NDIS goals AND the things you enjoy
Our team is experienced with Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-speaking communicators; Auslan-inclusive, AAC-capable, and communication-focused.
We believe in strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches where you become more independent, more connected, and more you.
We work throughout Victoria; from the Mornington Peninsula to Gippsland and are now accepting referrals for 2026.

Our supports are designed to be as unique as the people we work with, blending NDIS-aligned assistance with innovative, personalised experiences.

Daily Living Skills — Turn everyday routines into meaningful skill-building: cooking, cleaning, personal care with dignity, life coaching, independence.

Purpose-driven community connection — Go beyond home: explore local markets, social groups, inclusive events, adventures in nature and community connection.

Goal-oriented skill-building — from gardening and farm animal care to creative arts, tech skills, or entrepreneurial projects, all tailored to the participant’s interests and aspirations.

Holistic wellness focus — Mindfulness, nature-based activity, adaptive fitness and emotional regulation support tailored to you.

Genuine connection — Build meaningful relationships, connected peer experiences and inclusive spaces where your communication style matters

Co-create a living “goal map” with the participant, using creative methods like vision boards, digital journals, and real-world challenges to make progress measurable and exciting.
Participants can engage in animal care, horticulture, and sustainable living practices.
Tailored experiences that connect NDIS goals to real-world activities.
Support that’s accessible for both Deaf and hearing participants, with Auslan integration where desired.
From art and photography to market gardening and small business ideas.
We adapt in real-time to energy levels, moods, and opportunities, ensuring every support moment counts.

It’s personalised assistance provided in your own home, designed to help with daily living, routines, and community participation while building independence.
We don’t just tick boxes. Every support we deliver is creative, empowering, and designed to help you grow. From turning everyday routines into meaningful skill-building opportunities, to making sure you feel connected and included, we focus on building independence, confidence, and joy in daily life.
We tailor supports around your lifestyle and goals. Whether you need regular daily assistance or occasional sessions, we’ll design a plan that works for you.
Anyone with NDIS funding for “Assistance with Daily Life” or related categories may be eligible. We also welcome people who wish to privately pay for support services, making our programs accessible to individuals of all ages and support needs.
Absolutely. In-home support often extends into the community, whether that’s getting to appointments, shopping, attending events, or exploring new hobbies. We’re here to support your independence both at home and out in the world.
Yes! We know the right match makes all the difference. We take time to understand your preferences, personality, and goals, then carefully pair you with a support worker who feels like the right fit. If it’s not perfect straight away, we’ll work with you until it is.
